Round #1

Introduction

My Energetic Book Reviews are about books already published and known to the general public and which I find special according to Principles of Energetics. I am not sure if my reviews are the first energetic ones or not, but I would like to make a few short general statements in anticipation of what to expect.

The authors of these books are high-frequencies and inspirationalists of our time. They share in common also their thorough knowledge and their excellent grounding (1st chakra).

They represent the energies of our time and the contributions they make are unique.

On the one hand, I would like to draw attention to these authors and their writing because they deserve our attention and appreciation. On the other hand, I would like readers to become more aware of the reasons why these books are different from mainstream traditions.

I regard all the pieces reviewed as Profound Contemporary Materials.

Individual Level

All the titles reviewed in this section are connected to the individual level. Things happen mostly in private and only if the individual decides to apply the presented information. Once the critical mass has been reached, the individual level influences the collective level. The change happens vertically from the bottom up.

Title: A Whole New Mind: Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the Future

I regard this title already as a classic work of the Profound Contemporary Materials. It is groundbreaking because without neglecting the traditionally dominant left hemisphere, it finally pays due respect to the right hemisphere thus facilitating the needed synchronicity for a self-fulfilled spiritual human experience.

It sets the stage not only for a paradigm-shift, but it also offers a global perspective.

Without exaggerating, every sentence opens the door to a new universe. Actually, the title is a high-quality textbook which deserves rereading of various sections as they become of current importance in our lives.

The author zooms in and out of the information flow in order to convey main principles accompanied by inductive examples. Numerous relevant websites and even more unique titles get recommended in every chapter.

It is typical of spirituality that although it doesn’t get stuck in the past, it helps carry over into the present existing gems of the past.

The book liberates us from our prejudices no matter if we are left-brain dominant or right-brain dominant. The presentation is both a science and an art.

The last paragraphs of the book are a very courageous statement about reality that has never been truer than today and which will be even truer tomorrow!

Title: Modern Scholar: How to Think: The Liberal Arts and Their Enduring Value

The Liberal Arts education system has passed the test of time. The value is indeed enduring and it will continue to be the best, way into the future. What has happened over so many generations is stable over time and we should not allow ourselves to get fooled into accepting the idea that just because the entire economic system is upside down that they could ever lose their position of power and supremacy.

Actually, the Liberal Arts activate both hemispheres of the brain and as Michael Drout states, they teach us how to think. Leadership positions have always been filled by people who knew how to think and the more they thought holistically the more influential they were. The Liberal Arts are a gem from the past and they deserve to get carried over far into the future of a whole new mind.

If in the past we embraced formal education in order to impress someone like a potential employer, nowadays we embrace it for our own sake combining it with the modern entrepreneurial spirit. How could we ever want to give up the Liberal Arts when we need them more than ever for our own sake and our quality of life? Formal education might not be sufficient anymore, but it is definitely still necessary.

We need to remember that exceptions are only exceptions. Whoever made it in life without a formal education must have compensated for it by possessing information and skills not available to the general public. Of course, informal education grows in importance for the future. But if we want a stable foundation for our decision-making skills and problem-solving strategies, formal education still confirms its enduring status.

A NOTE ON THE SIDE

Another gem from the past is the concept of the Renaissance Man. Nowadays, we would speak of the Renaissance Person. But since we are all emancipated, there is no need to stumble over labels, even if they reflected a sad social reality between the genders.

At the time when the Renaissance Man was modern, only a small percentage of the general population had access to the means of becoming one and even fewer managed to become one.

What was a very special privilege in the past, was popularized in the course of the Liberal Arts education and nowadays it gets democratized to the individual level for everybody who is interested in applying the knowledge of a whole new mind.

I regard as the prototype of the Renaissance Man Leonardo da Vinci. I suppose each one of us can easily come up with more examples. I also think, amongst others, of Michelangelo, Voltaire, de Montesquieu, de Tocqueville, Avicenna (this one managed to be a Renaissance Man even before the Renaissance!), Mozart and Casanova (By the way, when is the title Casanova: The World of a Seductive Genius by Laurence Bergreen available also on Audible?).

As for the female race? I definitely want to mention Hildegard of Bingen and Marie Curie. I am aware there are many more.

What I can emphasize is that the energies for Renaissance Women is on the increase. Does anybody know if there is at least one title in preparation on Renaissance Women currently in leadership positions?

I look forward to learning more about Renaissance Women in all areas of life and business. Maybe it will take a while before information becomes available. In the meantime, we can become more aware of the fact that essentialist holistic new minds typically represent female energies.

Successful modern leaders in all areas already apply the whole new mind and constantly change the world by their holistic geniuses. They are all accomplished Renaissance Persons.

I aspire to becoming a Renaissance Person myself by the end of this incarnation. Giggle-giggle!

Title: The 5 Second Rule: Transform your Life, Work, and Confidence with Everyday Courage

The 5 Second Rule is about the co-creating power of the human spirit. It is a transformative technique that ends all types of resistance. Instead of disalignment we experience alignment on all levels.

The human level being as limited as it is, takes us places which we do not like and from which we do not know how to get out of. When we are lost in the labyrinth of negativities, we fall back on the 5 Second Rule.

Mel Robbins has a very compelling personal experience to tell and thanks to her enormous courage to share it with us, she has facilitated self-healing to very many of our contemporaries.

Title: Instant Emotional Healing: Acupressure for the Emotions

This book uses various meridian points originating in TCM and summarized under the label of EFT ( = Emotional Freedom Technique). A long list of emotions gets addressed and we can only be impressed by the richness of applications. Indeed by the end of the book, we feel enlightened and liberated from a lot of past emotional crap. Independent if our liberation is instant or not, the effect is powerful and the tool is very efficient. We stand to marvel how earlier generations coped with emotional burdens and can only feel very fortunate to have our current means.

A NOTE ON THE SIDE 1

EFT has experienced an update as Faster EFT or FEFT. I am not aware of any particular literature on FEFT, but the videos posted by Robert Smith on YouTube are beyond remarkable. FEFT uses only four points and they are amazingly efficient. The most awesome thing about FEFT is that the four points also work if used mentally by patients who cannot tap physically. This option is lifesaving.

Title: Feelings Buried Alive Never Die

For anybody hitting bottom line this book is the unexpected godsend. No matter how intense our negative feelings or experiences are, the techniques gently and powerfully bring us back to the surface. The positive effect is long-term and once we are out of the emotional tornado, we laugh at the incredible distance we gained from the most excruciating emotional pain. We do keep a vague memory of something or other that used to bug us, but it is somewhere far away at the end of the galaxy serving as a little contrast to a fulfilled and happy life.

Title: The Healing Code: 6 Minutes to Heal the Source of Your Health, Success, or Relationship Issue

Also, this technique originates in a very compelling personal experience within the family and it is testimony for the greatness of the human spirit and intuition. It shows human courage when all doors appear locked from the other side. The technique works even on the most subtle levels and can be used by a third person for patients who cannot apply the technique on their own.

A NOTE ON THE SIDE 2

Needless to say, we all wish we would have grown up knowing about all these miraculous techniques in our childhood. We are still very fortunate to be able to apply them all in our lifetimes. For those of us who can remember past lives and all the burdens we carried and all the negative consequences we suffered from, we can really appreciate our modern developments. We never had more choices than today. And we can happily anticipate that as more of us find healing, more amazing experiences will get shared.

Title: Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less

After having worked on our self-healing, we are ready to become Essentialists. As we already know A Whole New Mind already set a stage for a new line of thinking. Essentialism is the continuation of our new mind by showing us step-by-step in all areas of life what matters and what doesn’t matter and why. Essentialism gives a boost to our self-confidence to trust our intuition in creating new powerful boundaries towards everything and everybody. Former feelings of guilt or self-doubt vanish into thin air. Born leaders get liberated from mainstream conventions. We get reminded of our childhood qualities and can easily reconnect. Self-empowerment works in our favor with every new decision we make. This title is also a high-quality textbook that needs repeated study as we move along in our own process of becoming.

Collective Level

All the titles reviewed in this section are connected to the collective level. It is still the individual who decides to apply the principles but it is done in interaction with others in the public sphere. Once the critical mass has been reached, the accumulation of the individual potentials changes the entire society. The change happens horizontally or laterally.

Title: Unscripted: Life, Liberty, And the Pursuit of Entrepreneurship

Do you remember the 80’s (Yes, I am a dinosaur!) when we all believed we have to travel to India in order to transform the veil of Maya? Had we had Unscripted then, we would have known on the spot that it doesn’t take any traveling at all, let alone mystical experiences such as levitation, bilocation or feeding on prana. It only takes someone of a very special caliber to share with us their profound knowledge of the realities of our world.

To say Unscripted is unique is a huge understatement. Let’s call it a reality check on the highest level. There are a few most amazing things about this title. First, to find someone who knows it all is extremely rare. Second, to find someone who is willing to share it with us is unheard of. Third, it is shared easily and clearly without triggering paranoia which is in and of itself exceptional because usually revelations are quickly interpreted as conspiracies.

The entire book is a representation of our modern existing social ladder and no layer is ignored or neglected. We can use the information to make peace with ourselves and our world and decide for ourselves where do we want to go from here.

I know of no other title that so generously and concretely takes us to the very top, maybe a top that we did not even know existed or in case we did know it existed we had no idea how to get there.

Title: Start your Own Corporation

This title addresses very successfully the idea of becoming an entrepreneur. It fully corresponds to the energies of our time. The style quality of the writing is holistic and the presentation of all contents is systematic, informative and instructive for each aspect we need to know about. Even for beginners it is easy to get a very clear overview how to go about becoming an entrepreneur. All complex legal aspects get explained in a clear and efficient way.

This book is a huge encouragement to let go of our fears of legal terminology and logic. It is like learning a new language in a natural and easy way. The combination between theory and practice answers all relevant questions and offers us clarity and confidence. The book is not meant to turn us all into lawyers, but it lends itself to appreciating law and becoming open to feel at ease with it.

Garrett Sutton has written several other books. I have listened to some of the others as well and they are just as convincingly empowering and enlightening.

The Garrett Sutton books are all part of the Rich Dad series. Robert Kiyosaki started an amazing series on personal finances a long time ago and has facilitated financial transformations to readers all over the world by sharing with all of us the unique lessons he was taught by his rich dad.

Title: Tax-Free Wealth

Tax-Free Wealth delivers what it promises. What could we ever want more?

The knowledge in this book is more powerful than any meditation technique I know in order to get grounded. This is not to say that we have to stop meditating, but financially speaking we do need this knowledge in order to be successful.

It is more than sobering to find out that the vast majority of experts do not know all it takes to facilitate tax-free wealth for their clients. This book helps us learn when to say “Yes!” to the right experts and when to say “No!” to the wrong experts. We might not like having to find the needle in the haystack, but if ever we need to, now we know how to do it.

By the end of the book, we realize how many choices we have and how we can best design our financial destiny.

Title: Give and Take: A Revolutionary Approach to Success

Give and Take is on the verge of opening a gateway to a new universe.

It has the potential to ground the energies of heaven on earth. We are not there yet, but we could get there faster than imaginable if we learn to be differentiated enough.

The status of the Taker is very clear and the conclusion nobody wants to deal with the Taker is correct.

At the present time in our evolution, we are going through a transition from Matchers to Givers. Energetically, things work best between two Matchers, but it is true being a Matcher is not the ideal state. Believe it or not nowadays a Matcher has less problems than a Giver. Who would have thought so?

We need to have a closer look at the Giver. Let’s create here two categories just to be able to move on meaningfully with our discussion. Let’s call the first Giver the undifferentiated Giver and let’s call the second Giver the differentiated Giver. As I understood in Give and Take, the Giver described in the book represents the undifferentiated Giver who gives and gives to everybody everything all the time. A word of caution: This type of giving is not spiritual, I am so sad to say! From the text I could not really identify the differentiated Giver.

The differentiated Giver is one who gives by alignment. Giver and Taker are in resonance, their frequencies are similar and both benefit from the interaction. This way the highest energies get multiplied and perpetuated, beyond the two also to the collective Level.

The undifferentiated Giver runs the risk of giving by disalignment when Giver and Taker are not in resonance and when their frequencies are not similar and as a result, the frequency drops and what gets perpetuated is negative, both short term and long term.

In the book the Giver is the one who gives without expectations. This is indeed a spiritual attitude. But still, it is the responsibility of the Giver to do the giving in the right manner. For all of us who believe in the improvement of our world, it is relevant to understand the tiny differences and to learn to apply them in the appropriate ways.

Systemic Level

All the titles reviewed in this section are connected to the systemic level. The change happens vertically from the top to the bottom as the system influences society from the very top to the individual member. Everybody gets influenced, for better or worse, depending on the fact that the system constantly makes decisions for us, sometimes positive and sometimes negative ones.

Title: FairTax: The Truth

I regard this title as the jewel in the crown of Round #1.

Only recently did I have the opportunity to discover FairTax. While listening to the content, I became aware that this concept was already far ahead of its time. I was more than surprised to find out it has not been yet implemented. I was not at all surprised to find out that foreign leaders are interested in implementing this American concept in their countries.

What are we all waiting for? Who should take over the world leadership? I always thought it can only be America. I am worried that if America refuses FairTax somebody else will implement it first and take over. Who could ever do it better than America? The energies of this unique idea are phenomenal. All the contributors are definitely spiritual geniuses. We can regard FairTax as an exponential event.

A NOTE ON THE SIDE

The book identifies as the initiators of FairTax a group of men, all experts, all givers, all committed to the improvement of our world. I wondered why not one woman made it into the team at the beginning of the project. I have no answer. But based on the energies, I have a suggestion to make: Could the team imagine starting a mentoring program for women interested in high status political positions that embrace FairTax and manifest it? Is there one American woman aspiring to the presidency and who puts on her agenda FairTax and her determination to implement it?
